Mike Flynn was the first member of Trump Administration to resign. He is accused of being offered $15 million by Turkey. This new revelation comes in the wake of investigations into Russians inferences in the US election. Mr. Flynn would have negotiated the arrest of the Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen and his deportation to Turkey. Mr. Gulen is suspected to be the mastermind of the coup last year. It’s very important for Mr. Erdoģan, because Fethullah Gulen has many supporters. According to the Wall Street Journal, the plan between Michael Flynn and Turkey was to extradite Mr. Gulen. The cleric could have been transported in a private jet to the Turkish Island Imrali, a prison. Mr. Flynn’s lawyer said the allegations were “false and outrageous “.
