Twitter will finally be restored
Since the end of February 2014, two anonymous accounts on Twitter have posted some embarrassing documents (approximately 50) about Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan such as recordings of telephone conversations.
Last Thursday, the Turkish government blocked Twitter for so-called "security reasons".
So, since Thursday, there have been many protests on social networks and some Turks tried to use the social network even if it was blocked. There have never been so many tweets from Turkey since the start of the blockade.
A lot of people all around the world were outraged by this measure and have expressed their displeasure. Seized by the opposition and several Turkish associations, an administrative court in Ankara ruled that decision "contrary to the principles of the rule of law" and prescribed government authority Telecommunications (TIB) immediate suspension.
Opinion : As so many people in the world, I find it outrageous that the prime minister should block a social network because of some embarrassing documents.
And I find it stupid too because Turkey’s image suffered all around the world. If they want to join the European Union, I think they should think twice before taking such steps.
Twitter va finalement être rétabli
Depuis la fin février 2014, deux comptes anonymes sur Twitter ont posté des documents embarrassants (environ 50) sur le Premier ministre Recep Tayyip Erdoğan comme des enregistrements de conversations téléphoniques.
Jeudi, le gouvernement turc a bloqué Twitter pour des soi-disant "raisons de sécurité".
Ainsi, depuis jeudi, de nombreux protestations ont circulé sur les réseaux sociaux et certains Turcs ont essayé de de contourner le blocage. Il n'y a jamais eu autant de tweets provenant de Turquie depuis le blocage de twitter .
Beaucoup de gens partout dans le monde ont été scandalisés par cette mesure et ont exprimé leur mécontentement. Saisi par l'opposition et plusieurs associations turques, un tribunal administratif d'Ankara a jugé cette décision "contraire aux principes de l'État de droit" et a prescrit à l'autorité gouvernementale des télécommunications (TIB) sa suspension immédiate.
Opinion:
Comme beaucoup de gens dans le monde, je trouve cela scandaleux, comment le premier ministre peut-il bloquer un réseau social en raison de la publication de certains documents embarrassants ?
Et je trouve cela stupide parce que l’image de la Turquie ne s’est pas améliorée. S'ils veulent entrer dans l'Union européenne, je pense que le gouvernement turc devrait réfléchir avant de prendre de telles initiatives.
